Network Security Engineer

Cyber Infrastructure Engineer – DV Environment – Portsmouth or Salisbury | Hybrid

Join an established Cyber team on a major Defence site, working across security, infrastructure, and networks not just monitoring, but fixing and owning issues end-to-end.

What you’ll do

• Handle ServiceNow incidents & POI investigations
• Own and maintain on‑prem Splunk
• Support 3rd/4th line network & security issues
• Work across Windows, Linux, VMware, networks & security appliances

What you’ll need

• Strong Splunk experience
• 3rd/4th line network security background
• Experience with firewalls, proxies, routers, DMZs
• Solid Linux or Windows admin
• Understanding of core protocols & RCA

The details

Portsmouth or Salisbury. 8–6 weeks on‑site to get up to speed with the client, then 2 days per week.

DV clearance eligibility required.
