To support / handle complex renewable energy claims arising through the London Market and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Renewable Energy initiatives and objectives.
• Preparing reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim, including technical aspects, policy analysis and liability, quantum and future actions.
• Communicating regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communication.
• Maintain & develop strong and sustainable relationships with existing and new clients, based on the delivery of “Technical Excellence” and a good understanding of client’s needs.
• Visiting sites – claims & risk engineering.
• Instructing and controlling experts both internally and externally such as engineers, risk consultants, forensic scientists and lawyers.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or awareness of FCA procedures and the TCF initiative.
• Identifying and developing business opportunities for self and team.
• Actively seek to develop oneself and take responsibility for your own training and development.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (Degree / HND / equivalent) and suitable demonstrable experience.
• Industry experience with direct exposure to renewable energy technology.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Reputation for ‘Technical Excellence’ within the Renewable Energy sector.
• Industry relevant qualifications.
• Good understanding of the Energy Markets.
• Experience of delivering renewable energy engineering and / or consulting services with a particular focus on Hydrogen and BESS.
• Strong team working and collaboration.

• Communicate effectively by sharing, listening and exchanging information and knowledge at all levels.
