Overview

We are looking to appoint a dedicated, engaging and inspiring person to join our amazing team in the Specialist Teacher Advisory Service. You will work alongside the Teachers of Deaf children and young people (TOD) to support and assist with the development of deaf children within the city, providing a combination of class and home-based support and observations under the guidance of a TOD.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside TOD to support and assist with the development of deaf children.
  • Provide class and home-based support and observations under the guidance of a TOD.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with Deaf children in mainstream schools.
  • Knowledge of the primary National Curriculum.
  • Hold a BSL Level 3 Qualification (Candidates with a Level 2 Qualification and a willingness to work towards Level 3 may also be considered).

Salary band: £32,061 – £36,362 Full Time Equivalent. Starting salary: £32,061 pro rata, with annual progression through the salary bands.
