Registered Nurse – Acute & Community Services
The closing date is 12 April 2026
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit enthusiastic, compassionate, and self‑motivated Registered Nurses to join our teams across both our hospital sites and community services.
We have a range of opportunities available within Warwick Hospital, including our Medical and Surgical wards, as well as within our community teams, offering the chance to deliver high‑quality care in a variety of settings.
We can provide excellent opportunities for experienced nurses to join a high‑performing Trust, supporting you to further develop your skills, knowledge, and experience.
Our nurses are committed to delivering outstanding care and providing the very best experience for our patients. We pride ourselves on delivering care with compassion, professionalism, and enthusiasm, supporting patients to recover and maintain independence, whether that is facilitating a safe discharge from hospital or caring for them at home.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high‑quality, compassionate care to patients, working closely with colleagues across both hospital and community teams. You will support patients throughout their care journey, helping to plan and deliver care that meets their individual needs and promotes dignity, comfort, and independence.
The role includes supporting patients and their families, administering medication, monitoring wellbeing, keeping clear and accurate records, and helping to ensure care is well coordinated. You will be supported by experienced staff while continuing to develop your own skills and confidence, and you will also help guide and support students, junior colleagues, and healthcare support workers as part of the wider team.
