We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK financial advisory practice for an experienced Financial Adviser / IFA to join their Employee Benefits team.

This is a fully employed Financial Adviser, client-focused advisory role there are no sales targets, no business development, and all client appointments are provided. The role is ideal for a customer-focused adviser who enjoys helping people make informed financial decisions.

The Role Financial Adviser / IFA

You will provide one-to-one financial guidance meetings to employees and deliver group presentations to employer clients, both in person and via Teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Adviser

  • Conduct one-to-one meetings covering:
    • Workplace pensions and retirement planning
    • Pension consolidation and transfer considerations
    • Overall pension and investment planning
    • Efficient use of mortgages
    • Use of financial products such as ISAs, protection policies, cash accounts, NS&I
    • When Buy-to-Let or alternative investments might fit into a financial plan
    • Guidance for employees affected by Annual Allowance tapering
  • Deliver employee-facing presentations on:
    • General financial planning guidance
    • Workplace benefit changes (e.g., pension scheme updates or Salary Sacrifice)
  • Produce clear, accessible documents explaining financial products and concepts for employees
  • Maintain thorough and compliant records of all client conversations
  • Contribute to an online Literature Library covering common personal finance and benefits topics

Focus: delivering quality guidance, clear advice, and excellent client experience not sales.

About You

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Financial Adviser / IFA providing client-focused guidance
  • Strong knowledge of workplace pensions, retirement planning, and employee benefits
  • Confident presenting to groups and explaining financial concepts in accessible language
  • Looking for a salaried, employed role without sales targets

Not suitable for: Finance Managers, Management Accountants, Tax Specialists, Insurance Account Managers, or roles without regulated advisory experience. xwzovoh
