The Role
As a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing and handover of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning and configuring fire alarm systems
- Testing and fault-finding fire detection systems
- Carrying out cause and effect testing
- Supporting project installations through to successful handover
- Completing commissioning documentation and reports
- Providing technical support to customers and project teams
- Ensuring work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience working with fire alarm systems
- Proven commissioning or advanced fault-finding experience
- Strong knowledge of fire detection and life safety systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
