Fabric Technician Location: Paddington, London Salary: £39,000 per annum + Overtime Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Are you a Fabric Technician looking for a new opportunity within a prestigious corporate environment? We are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician to join a leading FM service provider, working within a state-of-the-art corporate office building in Paddington. The Role You will work as part of an established on-site maintenance team, carrying out a range of fabric maintenance and general building services duties to ensure the facility is maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests
- General fabric and handyman duties across the building
- Minor repairs and general building maintenance
- Identifying and reporting any defects or issues
- Supporting the wider maintenance team where required
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Fabric Technician, Handyman or similar role
- Good knowledge of general building/fabric maintenance
- Experience within a commercial or facilities management environment
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
- Good communication and customer service skills
