Our software supports care providers with digital systems that are critical to the running of their services — helping them deliver better care, stronger compliance, improved visibility, and more efficient operations.

The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is hungry, driven, commercially sharp, and capable of creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for leads to land. We want a self-starter. A closer. Someone who thrives on finding opportunities, opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities across our target market, building a healthy pipeline, delivering compelling sales conversations and demonstrations, and converting prospects into customers.

This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality — someone who loves the chase, enjoys winning, and wants their commission to reflect their performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, events, social selling, and prospecting
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline with a clear focus on conversion
  • Booking and attending meetings and product demonstrations with prospective customers
  • Understanding customer needs and positioning Care Control’s solutions effectively
  • Working closely with internal teams to progress opportunities and support the sales process
  • Preparing proposals, following up commercial opportunities, and helping move deals through to close
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity reporting within the CRM
  • Representing the business professionally in meetings, exhibitions, events, and across the sector
  • Contributing ideas, energy, and momentum to a growing commercial team
  • Driving revenue across core software, new modules, add-on services, and emerging product lines

You will likely be:

  • A proven BDM, Sales Executive, Account Executive, or similar new business salesperson
  • Confident generating your own opportunities rather than relying entirely on inbound leads
  • Comfortable speaking to decision-makers and building credibility quickly
  • Motivated by targets, momentum, and the chance to earn strong commission
  • Competitive, resilient, and able to keep pushing when others would back off
  • Organised enough to manage your own pipeline and activity properly
  • Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to grow with a scaling business

This role comes withuncappedcommission and we want the package to be highly motivating for the right person.
