Our client is looking to hire a Property Litigation Solicitor to work as part of their national property disputes practice based in Leeds. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected team who advise large corporate clients across the UK.

Our client is a global law firm with a large office in central Leeds. Their Property disputes practice advice on complex development disputes and asset management work acting for well known clients across the UK. Description

The Property Litigation Solicitor will get involved in a range of work including;

  • Managing a varied caseload of disputes including commercial property asset management.
  • Advising on development-related risk and strategy on some of the largest developments in the UK, including rights to light, title constraints and vacant possession strategies.
  • Working on high-profile, big-ticket property litigation.
  • Handling cross-sector / cross-over property-related disputes and litigation involving energy, infrastructure, mining, judicial review, planning and electronic communications law.
  • Act for a prestigious client base, and working closely with high profile Partners.
  • Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.

Profile

The successful Property Litigation Solicitor should have / be:

  • A solicitor with a specialisation in property litigation ideally around 2-4 years PQE.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and litigation procedures.
  • Strong academics and an interest to work for a global law firm
  • Ties to Leeds.
  • Experience representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution settings.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.

Job Offer

  • Salary between £70,000 and £80,000 GBP annually.
  • 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme with a 5% contribution.
