Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Lead Geo-Environmental Engineer to lead our Ground Investigation team in Manchester. You will be leading a small team of engineers to deliver high quality Ground Investigation projects of varying scale and complexity. Supported by our geotechnical and land quality specialists, you will be providing technical excellence and sustainable solutions to our clients across a broad range of industries and developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary Ground Investigation teams covering factual reporting, contaminated land risk assessments and geotechnical appraisal.
• Deliver technical excellence and sustainable solutions to clients.
• Manage people and demonstrate leadership skills.
• Behaviour, communication, proactive attitude, problem solving, motivational skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years in relevant industry.
• A relevant degree.
• Relevant chartership or working towards it.
• A good understanding of land contamination risk assessment.
• A good understanding of geotechnical analysis.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proactive and positive attitude.
• Problem solving ability.
• Motivational skills.
• Demonstratable management, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Full driving license.
