Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity in our Clifton clinic for a Healthcare Assistant who wants to make a difference in our patients’ lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures and in order to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on‑job training, e‑learning and access to our in‑house education program “d Academy.”

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and clean equipment in accordance with training.
  • Prepare supplies and packs for treatment.
  • Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
  • Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas.
  • Serve refreshments during treatments.
  • Support the nursing team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

  • GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health, Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive, dynamic approach to safe and effective care.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and fluency in English.

  • Full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, 6:30 am – 11:30 pm (no nights or Sundays).
