Overview
Fife Neuro Rehabilitation Service is a multidisciplinary service providing specialist stroke and neurological rehabilitation to adults across in‑patient, out‑patient, and community settings. We are seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic in‑patient Neuro Rehabilitation Team. You will contribute to the delivery of high quality, person‑centred care for adults referred to the service.
Role
In this role you will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to assess and treat individuals with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and progressive neurological disorders. You will provide specialist interventions aimed at maximising independence, safety and quality of life.
Key Qualifications
- Knowledge of occupational therapy models of practice within rehabilitation
- Experience of working within an NHS setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills
- Basic IT competency
- Commitment to collaborative, team‑based working
- Interest or experience in neuro rehabilitation or stroke rehabilitation (advantage)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy essential
- Relevant training or evidence specific to neurological or stroke rehabilitation advantageous
- Registered with HCPC
Development & Support
Successful candidate will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing development support from highly experienced Occupational Therapists within the service.
