Role: Senior Unix Track Lead – Shell Scripting

Job Summary

The Senior Track Lead will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Unix, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL track. The primary objective is to ensure the successful execution of projects related to Unix technologies and Oracle databases to meet business requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Unix, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL track within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions in alignment with business goals.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Unix, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL best practices.
• Monitor track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements.
• Develop and maintain track documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operating procedures.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members’ skills and knowledge in Unix and Oracle technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Unix systems and Oracle databases.

Skill Requirements

• Proficiency in Unix operating systems and commands.
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash or Korn shell.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Oracle database concepts, architecture, and SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
