Commissioning Engineer (Training/Mechanical)
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 (Regular overtime + monthly bonus + progression)
Location: Stroud
This position offers comprehensive training on testing and commissioning, with a clear year‑by‑year progression plan within a market leader in the aviation industry. You will receive extensive support and training in bespoke equipment to advance your career.
Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle testing and repair on specialist equipment
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and engines
- Support service and after‑sales teams as required
- Visit customer sites for on‑site testing, installation and calibration
- After sufficient training, perform site visits and work independently
Qualifications
- Pneumatics, hydraulic or pipe bending background
- Commuting to Stroud
- Desire to progress into a test and inspection engineer role
