As a Workday Learning Consultant (Consultant) in Kainos, you’ll work in a team to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, typically leading a project workstream. You will build relationships with our customers, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable.
You’ll provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements. You’ll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.
Responsibilities
- Lead a functional workstream on a prime implementation throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Implement and configure Workday Learning, including interdependencies with HCM, On-Boarding, and Talent.
- Build relationships with customers, understand their requirements, and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable.
- Provide guidance to customers and support junior team members.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, including in remote settings; present to senior client audiences.
- Maintain strong commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Widen and maintain a network of external contacts.
- Travel to customer sites in-region as required.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Workday Learning product.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM product and the interdependencies between Learning, On-Boarding, HCM and Talent.
- Excellent customer focus, able to assess needs, build relationships, manage expectations, escalate when needed.
- Strong communication with impact, credibility and empathy; able to present to senior client audiences.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Broad business and technology understanding; awareness of industry trends in HR, Financials, ERP or Payroll.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and make decisions under pressure with a balanced view of customer demands and Kainos commercials.
- Able to rotate through Workday delivery services (Consulting and Application Management Services).
- Able to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out-of-region travel may be required).
- Able to become an acknowledged subject matter expert (e.g., Workday Product Lead).
Desirable
- Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification.
- Professional qualifications in your area of expertise.
- Experience in post deployment services.
