Compliance Officer (Six figure salary)

My client is a global financial services institution that provides a number of products to clients in over 50 countries around the world.

There is a requirement to strengthen the compliance team in their Luxembourg entity ASAP.

Job Description

As the new Compliance Officer, your role will include:

• You will act as the registered Compliance Officer with the CSSF and act as the key point of contact for the CSSF representing the business
• You will oversee a broad range of compliance aspects for the Luxembourg entity
• Active mitigation of compliance and controlling risks by developing procedures and ensuring these are implemented effectively throughout the business
• Reporting to senior stakeholders within the business and developing long term relationships

Qualifications

Compliance Officer requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience explicitly within the fund management industry
• Excellent background of compliance or risk/control
• Strong team building skills
• Extensive experience within the Luxembourg market
• Fluent English. Fluent French preferable

Additional Information

The level at which you will join the company is negotiable; there is remit to take on a junior candidate of around 5 years experience, or a much more senior profile. Consequently, the salary available will be dependant upon experience, but could be as high as 100k EUR.
