Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor. The position is based in Hartlepool, with flexible working to meet project needs. The successful candidate will oversee cost management across multiple projects, including contract administration. Additional responsibilities include liaising with project teams, ensuring adherence to budgets, and supporting project planning from inception to completion.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cost Control, including monitoring project costs and developing cost-saving strategies
- Strong skills in Cost Management and Cost Planning to ensure projects remain within budget
- Skills in contract administration
- Experience in delivering detailed and timely Cost Reporting to stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Relevant professional qualifications or a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Experience in the demolition or construction industry is an advantage
