Field Service Engineer

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Field Service Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Field Service Engineer our client is offering:

• Basic Salary up to £39,000 per annum – Depends on experience
• Working Days 8:45 – 5pm Monday to Friday
• Permanent position within an expanding company
• Work uniform provided
• Clean / Modern working environment
• Offsite allowances applicable when working away from site
• Company Vehicle is provided
• Lots of overtime available on a regular basis, paid at premium rates – High earning potential
• Smart Phone & Laptop are both provided with this role
• 23 days holiday which rises to 25 days after year 1

The Role – Field Service Engineer:

• Installation/Commissioning/Servicing of the companies products at customer sites
• Providing technical support to customers via phone/email & in person
• Fault finding & diagnostics of systems / equipment
• Attending breakdowns where necessary
• Working from engineering drawings to build various products
• Carrying out both Mechanical & Electrical projects
• Testing & Inspection of systems and equipment
• Providing remote support to customers (Phone & Email)

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer:

• 17th/18th Edition
• Apprentice served Engineer
• Electrical/Mechanical skills and knowledge is essential due to this being a multi skilled position
• Worldwide Travel is required for this position, you will be notified in advance prior to travelling away
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Passport is essential
• Key Skills or Similar Job Titles: Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, PLC’s, Robotics, Automation
