Payroll Administrator (Contract 1 Year)

About Your New Job

As the Payroll Administrator (1-Year Contract), youwill:

  • Accurately process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll transactions using Sage Payroll for employees across Ireland.
  • Maintain employee payroll records covering hires, terminations, transfers, pay changes, and deductions.
  • Ensure precise handling of salary, overtime, bonuses, allowances, pension contributions, benefit-in-kind, and statutory payments.
  • Review input data, resolve payroll discrepancies, and prepare management and month-end reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish payroll legislation, Revenue requirements, and company policies.
  • Support payroll audits and collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve employee queries.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 3 years experience processing Irish payroll and at least 2 years using Sage Payroll.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, data validation, reconciliations, and reporting).
  • Strong knowledge of PAYE Modernisation, PRSI, USC, Irish tax regulations, and statutory leave payments.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.
