The Role
As a Paint Technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing, painting, and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and panels for paint.
- Mix and colour match paint accurately.
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray equipment.
- Carry out SMART repairs and full panel resprays where required.
- Polish and finish painted vehicles to a high standard.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and manufacturer standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Vehicle Paint Sprayer, Car Painter, Automotive Paint Technician, or Bodyshop Paint Sprayer.
- Experience working within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.
- Strong knowledge of modern paint systems and application techniques.
- Excellent eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.

- 22.00 – 24.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
