Our client, a reputable main contractor with a strong presence in commercial and public sector construction, is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and play a key part in the financial management of construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage costs across multiple projects from tender to final account– Prepare bills of quantities, subcontract packages, and valuation reports– Ensure all commercial aspects of the contract are maintained effectively– Identify and manage potential commercial risks and opportunities– Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and external consultants
What You Bring:
– Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within the main contracting environment– Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and procedures– Excellent attention to detail and sound commercial judgement– Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience– A proactive, confident approach with excellent communication skills
