National Account Manager role managing a portfolio of key trade and industrial accounts including trade distributors and a range of manufacturers. You’ll be tasked with developing commercial relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving sustainable growth with existing and new accounts.
This is a worldwide, already established brand that manufactures products that have a wide range of applications across industrial, manufacturing and construction markets. They are growing their UK market share consistently and offer long-term career opportunities by real investment in your development – they will provide mentoring and support to help you grow.
What they are looking for
- Proven experience working for a company in the industrial or construction supplies sector (e.g. construction materials, tools, PPE, industrial consumables, or related categories).
- A strong track record of winning new business and driving sales growth through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop key or national accounts at head office level, including large trade distributors or industrial manufacturers.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Organised, self-motivated and confident.
- Willingness to travel across the UK to meet customers and attend industry events.
- They will consider someone currently in a key account role or field sales role with key account responsibility looking to step up into a national position.
Package: Up to £50,000 DOE, Bonus £10,000, Company Car, Company Pension Package, Private Healthcare
