Overview

The Account Services Representative is a pivotal role dedicated to the end‑to‑end management of advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and high‑level service for both internal sales teams and external clients. This position requires a proactive professional capable of navigating a complex, multi‑platform ecosystem and collaborating across diverse functional departments—including Advertising Sales, Brand Creative Strategy, US Planning, Commercial Operations, Legal and Finance.The successful candidate will lead media planning initiatives, manage the booking of new business, and rigorously monitor inventory and delivery performance. As a client‑facing lead, the ASR is responsible for developing the sophisticated supporting materials and strategic insights necessary to drive the success of integrated, high‑impact advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help manage a portfolio of accounts closely with an Account Services Director, targeting advertisers and agencies to generate advertising revenue for CNBC International
  • Assist the Account Services Director in the execution of CNBCi sales initiatives, including the development of sponsorship and tactical packages, management reporting, and the fulfillment of campaign requirements
  • Use research intelligence and insight to develop solutions in collaboration with the Research team and Creative Solutions team to attract advertisers to partner with CNBC
  • Build media plans for their Account Services Director on CNBC platforms, TV, Digital, and affiliates
  • Develop media plans that will maximise revenue generation and optimise campaign performance for advertisers
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of CNBC’s portfolio of products, proactively sharing new product updates and opportunities with CNBC’s local Sales Reps
  • Produce campaign delivery reports with the traffic and research teams
  • Liaise with CNBC and affiliate traffic & digital teams to book and implement campaigns
  • Coordinate delivery of commercial assets to traffic and digital ad ops teams to ensure effective delivery of advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with the CNBC Legal and Compliance team to facilitate the review and clearance of all commercial assets for broadcast and digital placement
  • Ensure the smooth running of campaigns while live and report on campaign performance to clients regularly
  • Collaborate with research to produce campaign delivery reports pre, mid and post campaign to be delivered to CNBC clients
  • Collaborate with the CNBC Brand Studio business marketing team to inform strategies for engagement of customers in target markets and support CNBC’s local Sales Reps’ business activities
  • Collate screenshots, highlights, and compelling campaign case study materials for advertisers
  • Identification and resolution of invoice discrepancies and adjustments

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in media sales support, account management, and advertising operations within a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of the international media industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different time zones and cross‑functional teams
  • Self‑starter able to work independently as well as part of the team
  • Desire to provide best client service in a challenging environment
  • A team ethic and collaborative mind‑set
  • Confidence in negotiation and influencing skills
  • Self‑aware and diplomatic
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, and strong familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Freewheel, OperativeOne or relevant SSP/DSP platforms is highly preferred
  • Ability to manage complex data sets and planning templates with a high degree of accuracy
  • Confidence in building strong business relationships
  • Enthusiasm for and interest in news and current affairs
  • Willing and ability to travel
  • Eligible to work in the UK
