Electrical Engineer

Role

We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our team in the North West.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow with our company.

Responsibilities

• The installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Identifying areas for additional works in and out of the specified contractual requirements, supplying accurate quotations where required for any additional works
• Understanding and completing all work-related documentation accurately, on time, exceeding the customer’s expectations
• Complying with company policies and procedures
• Carrying out work in a safe and diligent manner
• Working alongside the current team of Engineers
• Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Attending and fully participating in training and appraisal activities, as required
• Liaising with office staff via phone calls, emails, and use of the PDA system
• Reporting to the Regional Manager

Person

The ideal person who’ll thrive in this role will have:

• The ability to read and follow blueprints
• A basic understanding of voltage, current, and resistance
• Good general experience working in care homes or public sector environments is preferable
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• Generally, IT literate
• Clear oral and written communication
• A customer focused approach
• Ambition, drive and enthusiasm
• A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

Training

Full training will be provided.

Essential Criteria

• 1-3 years of related experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Enhanced DBS clearance

Hours

• 08:00am -16.30pm 5days per week 40 hours
• Overtime rate paid after 40 hours
• Double time paid for call outs between 12am & 5am, and Sundays
