Do you have experience stabilising services, improving compliance, strengthening leadership teams, and preparing homes for successful regulatory outcomes?
We are working with a Medium sizedCare Home in Falkirkthat requires an experiencedInterim Turnaround Managerto support the existing leadership team and drive significant operational improvement.
This is a hands-on assignment for a results-driven leader who can quickly assess challenges, implement improvement plans, and create a positive culture that delivers sustainable change.
The Opportunity As theInterimCare Home Turnaround Manager, you will work alongside the existing operations team to identify areas requiring improvement and deliver a structured turnaround plan.
You will provide visible leadership across the home, improve operational performance, and help create a stable environment for residents, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the turnaround of a 50 bed care home.
- Support the existing management team to stabilise the service.
- Improve compliance, quality standards, and overall operational performance.
- Review and strengthen care delivery systems and processes.
- Address safeguarding, risk management, staffing, and occupancy challenges.
- Drive improvements in team performance, accountability, and culture.
- Implement robust action plans and monitor progress against agreed objectives.
- Support preparation for inspections and regulatory engagement.
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver measurable improvements.
- Create a positive and visible leadership presence throughout the home.
What We’re Looking For We would love to hear from candidates with:
- Previous experience as aRegistered Manager,Residential Care Home Manager,Interim Manager, orTurnaround Manager.
- A proven track record of successfully improving underperforming or challenged care services.
- Strong knowledge of care inspectorate regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
- Experience managing large residential care homes.
- Demonstrable success in improving occupancy, staffing stability, quality outcomes, and operational performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to quickly assess issues and implement effective solutions.
- Availability to work on-site in Falkirk
