We’re hiring a Project Delivery Engineer – Cyber Security to join a growing cyber team delivering security solutions across client environments.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 4+ years’ experience in a similar position, ideally from an MSP background, who enjoys hands‑on project delivery, client‑facing work, and deploying Microsoft security technologies.
About the role.
You’ll be responsible for delivering security solutions for clients, supporting assessments, remediation, onboarding and wider cyber project work, while acting as a technical point of contact across multiple engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy security technology solutions for clients
- Support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus audits and assessments
- Deliver Microsoft security technologies including XDR, SIEM and Endpoint Detection & Response
- Undertake technical vulnerability remediation
- Provide escalation support for cyber security incidents and alerts
- Produce security reporting and analytics
- Carry out Microsoft 365 and cloud security assessments
- Support pre‑sales activity, client onboarding, audits and eDiscoveries
- Work closely with project and cyber teams to keep delivery on track
Required experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar cyber security / project delivery role
- MSP background preferred
- Proven experience deploying Microsoft security solutions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Defender suite, including Defender for Endpoint / Business
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 cloud technologies from a threat and security perspective
- Experience with SentinelOne, Tenable, Mimecast and Egress
Certifications
Applicants should hold at least one of the following:
- SC-200 – Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
- SC-300 – Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
