Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Colchester
A well established specialist contractor based in Colchester is seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while developing their career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with cost planning, estimating, and tender preparation
- Supporting the commercial team with valuations, variations, and cost reporting
- Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitoring project costs and helping ensure budgets are maintained
- Assisting with procurement of subcontract packages
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
