Data Quality Assurance Team Leader

Job Responsibilities

Lead a team of Data Quality Assurance Clerks to accurately validate patient pathways on Hive. Support staff to ensure data is accurate, timely and complete. Improve data quality at source and coach the team on identifying and resolving errors. Assist the Data Assurance Service Manager in establishing routine procedures and monitoring team output to maintain high standards.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, stay calm under pressure, and remain organized and diligent. Patient care is a priority; exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of patient pathways are essential. Experience with the Trust’s current EPR system, HIVE powered by Epic, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required. A solid understanding of RTT pathway rules, NHS national performance targets and access rules is also necessary.

Qualifications

  • Higher National Certificate / Diploma or equivalent or relevant experience.
  • Evidence of Personal Development.
  • Higher National Certificate / Diploma or equivalent qualification in an IT-related subject.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Understanding of Data Quality issues in the NHS.
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Patient-related NHS administrative experience.
  • Ability to use IT systems.
  • Knowledge of commissioning datasets.
  • Understanding of RTT.

Salary

£32,073 to £39,043 a year (pro rata)
