Personal Assistant / Carer
We are seeking a Personal Assistant / Carer to complete our team of 3 carers providing exceptional care to a young man. You will help support him with various care needs, ensuring his well‑being and comfort in the family home.
About the individual
- A cheeky sense of humour
- Non verbal but does let you know what he does and doesn’t want
- He has autism and well‑controlled epilepsy.
He enjoys going out for walks and other activities.
Duties
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Engage in social activities and community outings
- Administer medication
- Minimal paperwork
- Work with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Experience in home care or similar caregiving roles
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs
- Valid driver’s licence is a plus but not essential
Benefits and Hours
- Competitive hourly rate
- Hours are 6‑hour shifts, 8 am‑2 pm and 2 pm‑8 pm
- Opportunity for additional hours to cover holiday and absences
- Immediate start date available
