The Solar & Battery Sales Executive will support revenue growth and the expansion of the organisation’s customer base through a combination of warm, pre-qualified appointments and cold lead generation to build a strong and consistent sales pipeline.
The role involves conducting in-depth customer consultations to understand energy needs, designing tailored solar and battery solutions using company tools, and presenting clear, compelling proposals that demonstrate value and savings.
- Drive revenue growth and expand the customer base through a mix of warm, pre-qualified appointments (70%) and self-generated cold leads (30%)
- Conduct in-depth customer consultations to understand energy usage, needs, and suitability for solar and battery solutions
- Design tailored solar and battery systems using company tools and present clear, value-driven proposals to customers
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Follow up with customers to build and maintain strong long-term relationships and maximise future opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and professional customer journey from enquiry through to installation
- Stay up to date with industry trends, renewable energy developments, regulations, and available incentives
- 2+ years of proven sales experience (experience in solar or renewable energy is preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales platforms
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve targets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regionally when required
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- High attention to detail, particularly around documentation and compliance
- Experience in renewables, construction, or installation environments is desirable but not essential
- Proficient in standard office software and scheduling tools
