Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance at all times with safety and security regulations and procedures as per host state and company requirements.
- Identify needs and improve cargo sales and operational performance for local station.
- Create awareness of QR Cargo products and services among existing and potential customers, as well as internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate service recovery measures and implement corrective actions, when required, ensuring appropriate communication to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute in maximizing revenue through efficient allocations in relation to reservations with Revenue Management.
- Attend to all customer queries with regard to cargo shipments.
- Provide customer service functions in liaison with relevant stakeholders while contributing towards meeting and exceeding the set targets.
- Ensure the smooth operation flow of cargo through acceptance and management of bookings, and identify the needs and improvement of customer service performance for the local station.
Qualifications
- Relevant College or University qualifications with a minimum of 2 years job-related experience in the airline or the freight forwarding industry.
- Travel industry qualifications e.g. IATA / UFTAA will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Cargo Reservation system.
- Knowledge of the overall Air Cargo Operations and set up.
- Customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent command of English language.
