Applications Engineer

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Benefits: 9-Day Fortnight available for staff employees

ASCO Workforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Applications Engineer to support the development and deployment of Compact Workover Rig (CWR) solutions for Plug & Abandonment (P&A) and well intervention operations across the UKCS and international markets

Key Responsibilities

• Support the integration and deployment of CWR solutions within project scopes.
• Develop and review technical documentation, interface drawings, PFDs, P&IDs and 3D models
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Support FAT, SIT, HAZID and Safety Case activities
• Identify design improvements, operational efficiencies and innovative solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations and quality requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer
• Chartered Engineer status preferred
• Minimum 10 years’ Oil & Gas experience
• Drilling contractor or workover rig experience essential
• Proficient in Inventor and/or SolidWorks including FEA
