Internal Sales Executive

Location: Redditch

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding or logistics who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for new and existing clients, providing a professional and responsive service
• Prepare and provide accurate quotations for existing customers via email and telephone
• Manage and develop key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
• Proactively engage with existing clients to encourage repeat business and re-bookings
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handling queries and resolving issues efficiently
• Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and internal stakeholders
• Maintain strong knowledge of international freight operations, including both import and export processes
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery and accurate pricing

Requirements

• Previous experience within freight forwarding or logistics (air, sea, or road)
• Strong understanding of international imports and exports
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Confident handling of quotations and customer enquiries
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts
• Operational background within freight/logistics is highly desirable
