Junior Derivatives Trader — Python/C++ & Market Insight

Our client, a boutique hedge fund, is looking to hire a Junior Trader. This role would suit a self-motivated and ambitious individual wanting to learn from a highly experienced trading team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Executing trades for systematic trading strategies
2. Maintaining awareness of market developments and providing market commentary to portfolio managers
3. Providing daily feedback and opinion on traded/open positions
4. Supporting Senior Traders where necessary
5. Contributing to ad-hoc projects around trading automation

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years’ trading experience gained on the buy-side or sell-side
2. In-depth knowledge of derivatives
3. Coding experience in Python or C++
4. Demonstrate a passion and drive for the markets and trading
5. Educated to degree level
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Appetite to learn and embrace this exciting opportunity
