Bodyshop Repair Technician

BODYSHOP REPAIR TECHNICIAN (COMMERCIAL) Basic Salary: £17.10 per hour Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 Friday 08:00 – 15:30 Location: Loughborough Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Repair Technician: – Carry out body repairs on commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards – Perform welding, panel repairs and refinishing work – Assist with fault diagnosis where required – Ensure repairs are completed safely and responsibly – Work in line with warranty procedures – Liaise with the parts department to ensure correct parts are fitted – Complete job cards accurately and maintain workshop standards – Road test vehicles where required (HGV licence advantageous) – Wear appropriate PPE at all times   Skills and Qualifications of a Bodyshop Repair Technician: – City & Guilds qualification or equivalent – Experience within HGV / PSV / commercial vehicle body repair – Experience in welding, painting and body repair – Experience within the commercial vehicle industry – Ability to produce high-quality repairs from start to finish – Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently   If you think you are a good fit for this Bodyshop Repair Technician role, please contact Shauna @ Auto Skills and quote reference number 53312.
