A 10 bedroom boutique hotel in Sleat is looking for a live in Hotel Manager to run daily operations. This role suits someone hands on who is comfortable taking full responsibility in a small hotel setting.

The role

• Manage the day to day running of the hotel
• Deliver a high standard of guest experience from arrival to departure
• Work across reception, housekeeping, and service as needed
• Manage bookings, reservations, and online platforms
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Oversee basic maintenance and coordinate contractors when required
• Support basic financial tracking and cost control

Working pattern

• Flexible hours required
• Includes weekend and peak season working

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Self motivated and practical approach
• Confidence working in a small team in a remote location
• Good administrative and IT skills
