Warehouse Operative – Night Shift

Connect Appointments are recruiting a reliable and hardworking individual to join our client’s busy warehouse team in Chester-le-Street as a Warehouse Operative.

This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with a leading logistics provider.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time temporary to permanent opportunity
• Working night shift hours
• Tuesday to Friday, 1:30am to 9:45am & Saturday, 1:30am to 10:45am
• Paid weekly at 13.44 per hour

What you’ll be doing?

• Sorting and scanning parcels ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Picking, packing, and labelling customer orders
• Checking items against delivery paperwork
• Reporting any damaged or missing items
• Keeping your work space clean and safe
• Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties

What we’re looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouse, parcel sorting, or similar fast-paced role preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift parcels (manual handling involved)
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
