Responsibilities
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Clean room maintenance
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment is running at optimum performance
- Ensure all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out modifications and installations when required
- Liaise with sub‑contractors and external suppliers
- Take ownership of tools and equipment, ensuring they are maintained to an appropriate standard
- Liaise with client/management
Qualifications
- Strong commercial background; ideally NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Expected to integrate into a team of engineers and maintain a flexible attitude towards work, supporting the wider business/campuses.
- The ideal candidate holds Commercial Gas tickets and has knowledge of BCGA works due to the nature of equipment on site.
- Minimum NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2/3 qualification in air conditioning, plumbing or mechanical engineering maintenance/installation.
- Clean room experience – extremely desirable.
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS – essential.
- Previous maintenance experience in a commercial office environment.
- Flexibility towards work and willing to carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade.
- Very well presented.
- Client facing experience – desirable.
