Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you need to be CCAB or CIMA qualified with a strong background in Financial Management. We’re seeking a forward-thinking, proactive individual who can lead their team in supporting the strategic direction of the Finance Directorate and the Trust.

Strategic Financial Advice

Be the finance lead for the cross cutting workstreams identified in the Model Hospital / Model Health Systems data. Support the trust with the effective use of external / internal benchmarking data to drive efficiencies. Ensure that all statutory / NHS returns represent a true and fair view and meet financial timescales and legal requirements, interpreting these where necessary.

Complex Problem Resolution

Investigate and advise on highly complex business management issues. Your insights will be crucial in enhancing financial awareness, and improving business performance.
