Field Services Engineer

Field Service Engineer position based in the Northwest area. Requires a full clean driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support our distributed customer base around Derry/Londonderry and the Northwest.
• Multi-Vendor Consumer hardware maintenance (PCs, laptops, printers).
• Multi-Vendor Enterprise hardware maintenance (Servers, SANs, libraries).
• Hardware installation of telecommunications equipment (routers, switches, cabling).
• Network troubleshooting at hardware level.
• Occasional on-site Deskside Support.
• Experience of MS products (installation, support, troubleshooting) an advantage.
• Part of an on-call Rota team.

Requirements

• Well-developed communication and customer-facing skills.
• Well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills to server level.
• Service-Delivery oriented and able to work under pressure to deadlines.
• Self-starting, reliable and able to work on own initiative.
• Good team player, fast-learning, adaptable and creative.
• Availability to work on a 24/7 on-call rota.
