Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected motor trade business, seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their team. As the Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role within the business, reporting directly to the owners and acting as the key link between customers and the workshop. This position would suit a confident and organised individual who thrives in a position of responsibility and enjoys being at the heart of daily operations.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing all service and maintenance enquiries from booking through to completion.
- Liaise closely with the workshop to ensure smooth workflow, clear communication, and timely updates.
- Provide accurate estimates, explanations of work required, and clear invoicing upon completion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Manage job cards, bookings, and service records with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage workload independently.
The Package
£28,000 – £32,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience).
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekend work.
Sole role with autonomy and direct reporting to the business owners.
