We’re looking for a Night Shift Engineer to join our engineering team at a busy food manufacturing site in Central Scotland.Working on a permanent 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern, you’ll play a key role in maintaining production efficiency through planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and rapid response to equipment breakdowns. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, safety and continuous improvement are critical.What you’ll be doing:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimising downtime.Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.Supporting production teams to maximise equipment performance.Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards.What we’re looking for:Time-served engineer or recognised engineering qualification.Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, Food production environments, or armed forcesStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Multi-skilled engineering experience preferred.Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift pattern.
