Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Paddington
Salary: £42,000 – £45,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Alice Rose Recruitment is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the maintenance team of one of London’s most recognised service providers. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Engineer with proven building services experience, joining a close-knit team on a flagship commercial site in the heart of Holborn. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical and building services systems.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Work on single and three-phase power systems.
- Maintain and test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
- Operate and maintain BMS systems.
- Service AHUs, FCUs, generators, UPS systems, motors, and pumps.
- Undertake water treatment duties (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.).
Requirements
- Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 3 – 236, 2330, 2365 or equivalent).
- Apprentice-trained (desirable).
- 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
- Proven background in building services maintenance.
- Experience working in a commercial environment.
- Strong communication skills with a client-facing approach.
