The Crown Estate is looking for a skilled and motivated Investment Associate to join our central Investment team. We have recently published our intention to invest up to £400 million in infrastructure through our Supply Chain Accelerator and Supply Chain Investment Programme, and are building our team to support with this.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering our ambitious investment strategy, supporting the UK’s transition to net zero, enhancing nature, and enabling thriving communities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading financial analysis and modelling to support investments in infrastructure, with a focus on renewable energy supply chains, as well as real estate.
- Managing due diligence processes and external advisors across legal, financial, and technical disciplines.
- Preparing clear, insightful investment papers and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Supporting the development of investment strategies that integrate environmental and social value.
- Contributing to the day-to-day operations of a high-performing investment team.
What we’re looking for:
We’re open to a range of backgrounds and experiences. If you can demonstrate some or all of the following, we’d love to hear from you:
- Experience in investment, development, corporate finance, or consulting for infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
- A solid understanding of investment risks, structures, and partnership models.
- Confidence in managing external advisors and contributing to transaction execution.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow your skills across different sectors and deal types.

- A resourceful and accountable approach to your work.
- Commercial acumen and a proficiency to evaluate and assess opportunities
- Great communication skills and the ability to distil complex information into clear insights.
