Role Overview

RCCIL is seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Research Analyst to join its London-based team. This role will focus on producing high-quality research, market intelligence, and strategic insights across the UK property sector, with a particular emphasis on emerging investment locations, housing trends, and policy developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping RCCIL’s publications, reports, and thought leadership, working closely with senior researchers and directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on UK housing markets, regional growth areas, and investment trends
  • Analyse economic data, property metrics, and demographic shifts to identify opportunities and risks
  • Produce high-quality written reports, articles, and whitepapers for publication
  • Support the development of investment guides, location reports, and market forecasts
  • Monitor policy changes, planning developments, and regulatory updates affecting the property sector
  • Collaborate with internal teams on content strategy and research outputs
  • Assist in presenting findings to stakeholders, clients, and partners where required

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Real Estate, Geography, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing long-form content
  • Knowledge of the UK property market and housing sector trends
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (experience with property data platforms is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to deadlines

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working within property research, consultancy, or investment analysis
  • Understanding of UK planning policy and housing regulations
  • Familiarity with GIS tools or data visualisation platforms
  • Interest in regional development and emerging UK investment locations
