Salary: GBP 46,472 – GBP 49,059 per annum plus an extensive benefits package.
We are currently recruiting for multiple Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a well-established food manufacturing site in Colne, Lancashire. This fast‑paced FMCG environment operates within meat processing, offering stability, strong earnings and long‑term progression.
In this hands‑on engineering role you will support both planned and reactive maintenance activity across site machinery.

The Shift
Monday to Friday: 05:30 am to 01:00 pm, followed by Monday to Saturday with one day off during the week, followed by a shorter Friday finish week.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
- Reactive breakdown response and fault finding
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Supporting production line efficiency and changeovers
- Monitoring equipment performance and reliability
- Working closely with production teams to reduce downtime
- Maintaining accurate maintenance recordsEnsuring compliance with health, safety and food standards
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
- FMCG or food manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding ability
- Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps and packaging equipment
- Proactive, hands‑on approach to maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
