We are currently supporting a major energy client on a large-scale offshore development and are looking to engage a SURF Flow Assurance Engineer to join the team. This is a key position within a high‑profile project, offering the opportunity to work on complex deepwater subsea systems and contribute to critical technical decisions across the project lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities
- Leading flow assurance studies for SURF (Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines) systems
- Performing steady‑state and transient simulations (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, etc.)
- Managing risks related to hydration, wax, asphaltene, scaling, and slugging
- Supporting design and optimisation of subsea production and transportation systems
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (subsea, process, reservoir, operations)
- Providing technical input into FEED, detailed engineering, and execution phases
- Reviewing contractor deliverables and ensuring compliance with project standards
- Contributing to operability, start‑up, and troubleshooting strategies
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in flow assurance engineering within SURF projects
- Proven background working on deepwater or complex offshore developments
- Strong expertise in simulation tools (OLGA highly preferred)
- Solid understanding of thermal, hydraulic, and multiphase flow behaviour
- Experience across project phases (FEED, EPC, operations support)
- Ability to work in an international, fast‑paced project environment
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related discipline
