Teaching Assistant L2 (SEND)

At East Ward Community Primary School, the Teaching Assistant L2 (SEND) supports children with special educational needs and works alongside year group teachers to tailor work and activities to meet individual children’s needs.

The role provides an opportunity to develop your skills and take ownership by ensuring learning is fun and engaging.

  • Support children with SEND and collaborate with year group class teachers to tailor learning activities.
  • Ensure classroom learning is engaging and enjoyable.

Normal hours of work are 32.5 hours per week (term time only).

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check at the appropriate level.
