Overview
Job Title: Senior Finance manager
Contract Duration: 18 months – 3 days a week onsite
Location: Reading
Working Arrangement: Full-time, onsite
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Inside IR35
Requirements
- Strong budgeting, reporting, and accounting experience
- Stakeholder management at all levels, including senior leaders
- MOD/Defence or public sector experience
- Executive reporting experience
- Experience with Oracle Fusion/ERP (desirable) and EPBCS (desirable)
- Experience in transformation initiatives (desirable)
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Deliver financial activities on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Develop functional strategy and drive execution
- Lead, manage, and develop finance team members
- Ensure financial controls, compliance, and accurate reporting
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Lead by example to create a high-performing team
