Capgemini is looking for a full‑time Workplace Engineer in the End User Experience (EUE) department based in Salisbury.

Your role

• First‑line and second‑line software and hardware support (PCs, laptops, peripherals, printers)
• Build, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems to corporate specifications
• Install, configure and maintain network printers
• Install and support remote access connections
• Install encryption software and carry out the challenge/response process as required
• Work closely with other internal resolver groups to ensure service delivery meets customer requirements
• Work within business and security frameworks (ITIL, JSP, IMM)

Your skills and experience

• Full clean driving licence
• Desktop support at a second‑line level in a complex IT support environment
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2016, M365 and SharePoint
• Understanding of thin‑client environments
• Knowledge of Citrix and VMWare
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, systems management and monitoring tools
• Customer‑focused experience
• Basic experience of VMWare products and virtualisation technologies (Horizon View, vSphere)
• ITIL awareness

Compulsory Authorisations

Candidates must reside continuously within the United Kingdom for the last five years and be eligible for a Security Check (SC) clearance.
